Madeleine Boothe is the Principal and Founder of Boothe Legal & Advisory. She established the firm to provide bespoke support to entrepreneurs and innovative business owners, helping them scale and succeed throughout their business journey.
With over 10 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and technology companies and over 7 years as a commercial legal advisor, Madeleine has a proven track record of providing pragmatic and cost-effective legal advice, growing and nurturing relationships, navigating uncertainty and helping people achieve their goals.
Before founding Boothe Legal & Advisory, Madeleine was the Head of Legal for a SaaS company focused on automating legal and business document and data management, where she supported the business through its pre-seed phase and international expansion.
Prior to that Madeleine spent 7 years working in private practice law firms as a corporate and commercial lawyer advising a range of businesses, investors and wealthy professionals to minimise legal risks, build assets and protect wealth.
While completing her studies, Madeleine was the Events & Programmes Manager at Australia’s largest technology coworking space, where her role was to activate and grow the community of startups. She was also the Operations Manager and second employee of a fast-growing startup where she first acquired her passion for using technology to solve real problems.
Madeleine holds a Bachelor of Business (BBus) and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Technology, Sydney, along with a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) from the College of Law.
As an active member of the Australian tech ecosystem, Madeleine offers support by providing legal and startup mentoring to university students at the University of Technology, Sydney and the University of Sydney, as well as pro bono legal advice at UTS Startups and other coworking spaces around Australia.
Madeleine is also an angel investor, providing founders with capital and strategic advice to help them grow and succeed.
